Dear Parents,
On behalf of the Livonia Soccer Club, I’d like to thank you for participating in the club’s Summer Rec program. The program has been the starting point for generations of Livonia Soccer players. If your son or daughter is entering 3rd through 6th grade, we encourage you to register for the Livingston County Fall League. The Fall League is comprised of players entering grades 3 thru 6 in the Fall of 2019. The Fall League includes teams from Monroe, Livingston, and Genesee counties. LSC players entering grades 3rd thru 6th in fall of 2019 are eligible regardless of the RDYSL division in which they currently play.
For both boys and girls, the league has two divisions – one for players in 3rd/4th grade, and a second for players in 5th/6th.
DIVISIONS:
- Grades 3/4 will play 6v6 plus keeper (2-25 minute halves)
- Grades 5/6 will play 8v8 plus keeper (2-25 minute halves)
LOCATIONS:
All league games are played at one of three sites:
- Breath of Worship soccer complex in Lakeville
- York High School
- SUNY Geneseo campus
REGISTRATION FEE:
$30/player (all grades) with a deadline of August 10th . Payment can be made online or via check made out to “Livonia Soccer Club” and mailed to P.O. Box 445; Livonia, NY, 14487.
UNIFORMS:
Current LSC travel players will wear their current uniforms. New player uniforms will be $50.
TEAMS & REGISTRATION:
Registration is now open to all interested players. Registration will close on August 10th. It is possible RDYSL teams will remain intact, but the club reserves the right to modify teams in order to accommodate as many players as possible. Our primary goal is to provide the opportunity to play for as many kids as possible. Players will be assigned to teams based on the total number of players registered to play in each division. 2019 LSC Fall League Registration
COACHES:
PLEASE NOTE: We currently have no confirmed coaches for the boys 3rd grade team and girls 3rd and 4th grade teams. LSC makes every attempt to field as many players and teams as possible, but there can be no team without coaches. If you are interested in being a Head Coach, Assistant Coach, or Team Manager, please fill out the LSC Coaching Application located here LSC Documents and Downloads and submit to the Livonia Soccer Club by August 10th. Current LSC RDYSL spring travel coaches intending to coach in the Fall do not need to submit an application. Coaching assignments will be made by the LSC Board. The club will fully fund all coaches for the US Soccer E License course, and provide additional training opportunities throughout the year.
MANDATORY TEAM VOLUNTEERS:
Every team will be assigned a Saturday where a parent or family member must sign up for a 2-hour time slot to help in the concessions stand at the New Life fields.
Please note: this is NOT optional and it is possible that your time-slot may conflict with watching one of your child’s games.
GAMES AND PRACTICE DATES:
All games will be scheduled on Saturdays from September 7th – October 12th (start times of 8AM-6PM). Sunday may be used for rain dates. The ending date may vary depending on weather throughout the season. Each team will have 8 league games and will participate in a season ending – single elimination tournament. All games will be officiated by certified referees. Practices will be scheduled by coaches, and will generally begin two to three weeks before game play begins.
