The have a 7-1 record thus far. Their only defeat this year was to the GVBBSC a 0-1 loss. The girls however have rebounded nicely from that loss to win every other game.They will try to avenge that loss this Thursday the July 10th under the lights at LSC/New Life. We wish the girls continued success. June 15, 2008 Webster Lake front Classic  The Supershots are Champions of the Webster Lake Front Classic!!!The girls started the three day tournament Friday night. They played a lightning shortened game to a 1-1 tie.On Saturday the girls held on during a tough game against the Wayne Wings. They left with a 3-2 win. Needing a win Sunday morning the team responded and played a terrific game against the Pittsford Hawks. The Supershots had a shutout 2-0. This put them into the championship game against the Canandaigua Attack. The Supershots won a hard fought game 2-1. Coach Stephens and Mattle congratulated the girls on their fine play and presented them with the Champions Trophy. Way to go Supershots!!! The Supershots traveled to the Amherst International Memorial
Tournament this weekend. The girls started off the
weekend
Saturday. They played the VF united Shooters to a
1-1 tie.
On Saturday afternoon the girls lost to the Oakville Phoenix from Ontario Canada. Though they fell behind early in the match the girls regrouped against a strong opponent and played the second half to a 0-0 tie. On Sunday the Supershots got up early for a 8 am game, they scored a shutout 2-0 over the Fairport Power. In the semi-final game the girls ran into the hometown Amherst Revolution . The girls played hard all weekend and had an great time. Thanks to Coach Stephens and Mattle for great job. More Photos from the AIM Tournament May 20 - The girls traveled to Spencerport for their first game of the RDYSL season. They played a tight first half and had a 1-0 lead at the half. They started out the second half strong and quickly built a 4-0 lead. They recorded their first win of the season with a shutout 6-0. Congratulations to the Supershots!!!!The girls traveled to the Wayne Wings indoor tournament on March 15, 2008They played hard and smart throughout the tournament. This resulted in bringing back to the LSC a FIRST place finish. |
