Fall League Rules

Livingston County Fall Soccer Rules

  Rostering – Players are limited to participating on only 1 team in each division.

Games will be played in accordance with FIFA and New York State West Youth Soccer Association (NYSWYSA) rules.   Slide tackles will NOT be allowed at the 3/4 grade division.

 Divisions:                   Grades 3/4 will play 6v6 plus keeper (2-25 minute halves)

Grades 5/6 will play 8v8 plus keeper (2-25 minute halves)

Home Team 

The home team is identified on the schedule as the first team listed.  They will have field side selection and provide the game ball.

In the event of uniform color conflict, the home team player’s uniform color changes.

During games, each team and their spectators are to be located on the opposite side of the field as the opposing team.

 Conduct

Coaches have total responsibility for the conduct of their players, coaching staff, and team spectators.  At no time shall foul or abusive language or misconduct be permitted at any field or other facilities being used for the tournament.  The referee has the authority to eject coaches who are either unable or unwilling to control themselves or their sidelines.

 

Substitutions

Player substitutions shall be allowed under the following circumstances:

  • Prior to throw-in in your favor.
  • Prior to either teams goal kick.
  • After a goal.
  • During half time.
  • Injury to player with referee approval.

Playoffs

Teams will be ranked for standings according to Total points:

  • League Wins – 3 points each
  • League Tie – 1 point each
  • League Loss – O points

If 2 teams are tied for standings, they will be decided based upon the following order:

  • If Head to Head competition – winner will be higher seeded.
  • Most Wins
  • Largest Goal Differential
  • Fewest Goals against

If a game is tied during a playoff game, immediately go to PK’s.

Spring Clean up

We are pushing the work party at New Life back a week till the 9th due to wet field conditions. Does not look to improve enough by Saturday to make it worthwhile. As soon as the fields are dry enough, we will let teams know so they can begin to practice. They are being checked daily.

Summer Soccer

Summer registration can be done through the mail please download the attached form and mail it in to PO Box 445 Livonia 14487. Registration forms are also available at the Livonia Public Library.

The deadline for registration is April 30 2011

Summer Recreation League 2011

Open to all area children entering grades K – 7 in the fall.

Registration nights are Tuesday, March 22, and Wednesday, March 23, from 6:30 – 8 p.m. in the Livonia High School cafeteria. The cost is $35 for the first child, and $30 for each additional child (make check payable to Livonia Soccer Club).

The season runs June 27 – July 28, from 6 – 7:30 p.m., according to the schedule below:

2/3 . . . . . . . Tuesday and Thursday . . . . . . . Primary School

4/5 . . . . . . Monday and Wednesday . . . . . . High School

A parent or guardian must be present at all times during practices and games. Players will receive a league T-shirt, and must wear shin guards. Either cleats or sneakers are allowed.

The registration deadline is April 30 (no exceptions). If you cannot attend the registration nights, print the form available on this website and mail with your check to Livonia Soccer Club, PO Box 445, Livonia, NY 14487.
